Whenever we then need to make more updates, we take the current file in dropbox (which probably has been updated by the other person) and copy it over our local desktop copy.There is the disadvantage of needing to communicate by text/phone/email to be sure you are not both updating at the same time, resulting in two different new copies, and subsequently one overwriting the other.This would probably be much more difficult to manage between more than 2 people, and there is always the danger of overwriting previous work if you are not careful.

It affects my confidence in the neighborhood, so I'd like not only to keep my stuff from being stolen but to ensure the thieves are caught when they do strike - potentially preventing dozens of homeowners from suffering the same fate.One I idea I thought I'm pursuing is putting a tracking device on the fridge/stove, or whatever, until the house is occupied.

They claim they are having trouble with getting permission and scheduling with the other tenants in gaining entrance into their units.My tenant and I have been communicating with the property manager back and forth for a month now just to be told "we are working on it and to just be patient."
