We plug our home phone line into the back of the wifi router.

Got more water yesterday, checked on sump pump today, unplugged/plugged it back in and it went for a straight hour, pumping everything that it should have been draining during the entire evening's storm.

Have you tried plugging in the numbers to the BP Rental Calculator tool or something similar? 

One thing I would appreciate would be a scenario where on Jan 1, folks can choose what weeks they get in that calendar year, but I would probably hold back 10-15 days so that I could "plug in" last minute 1-2 night visits here and there.

Get an electrician but for time being run an extension cord and plug it in so it works.

if you have to get inspectors in for every little thing your going to broke because they will surely go out of their way to cover their butt and stick it to you .

If you are in an area prone to rodents, have a pest company come out to plug any holes or install wire mesh. 

Who I'd refer you to or plug you with is really dependent upon the location of the properties and the type of work that you'd want done.
