Sump Pump for Dummies

Newbie working on my first house hack. First I am finishing the basement and just had sump pumps installed as of 8/19/2022. The issue is, is that the guys just install the sump pump. They told me I had to hire an electrician to get a dedicated circuit for each of them.  So they aren't running right now.

My question is , its raining and has been raining for a couple of days now. Will my basement flood now? Because of the time in getting an electrician down there and then have them working... will my sump pumps fail or did I ruin it already? I am super new this kind of thing and been looking into the web for some similar circumstances and found nothing.

I fear that all the money I put down there is ruined because I didn't know I had to get a dedicated circuit for each of them. Thank you group!
