I agree that 20 years is a long time to be locked into an agreement but the savings aren’t necessarily small, upwards of $50k for just an average resi system (in some areas depending on net metering, price per kWh, etc.) and much more than $50k for bigger systems.

We went to small claims court today and the Judge didn't seem to care about the June 6th date on the addendum or the other lease violations that needed fixed per the addendum.

Hypothetically, if I had a deal that I wanted to put in front of a pool of investors, that underwrote to a mid teen CoC and above 20% IRR, however requires only a small equity slug - does anyone have any advice on finding an audience with those yield requirements?
