@Bjorn Ahlblad, they must have updated the link.https://www.bloomberg.com/news...But I agree, that while I feel for tenants having to live in slum like conditions, why isn't the government stepping in to say "We won't raise your property value every few years" or "we will limit how much the plumber can charge to repair the leaky sinks"...

If the Condo has in the CCR's that it must be owner occupied this is for several reasons: 1. less wear and tear with owner who cares 2. complex needs 51% owners to allow for better government financing for new buyers thus increasing value of total 3. owners in the complex don't want a unit next to them with nine college students and a bunch of subletters who take all the parking spaces and fill up the trash...

It's going to really tricky to work with seller agents to choose the right buyers and tell sellers not to get greedy I am really being optimistic and also with new government, interest won't go anywhere which is going to put more buyers on the road for new homes.
