Now if you have a place that is short term say in summer and mid-term winter because you get a significantly higher rate in one season for STR that makes sense.

Last time I approached lenders I was approved for a loan with an interest rate of 9.5%, but that was when I was trying to purchase through an LLC so it was a commercial loan.

Financing is a different situation when you have entities involved, meaning that commercial loans need to be used rather than what you have already experienced with a conventional, FHA, VA or other "regular" mortgage

Just because they have some cool letterhead and a "business" doesn't mean they aren't working outta the back of the white van...next to the speakers they sell.I would charge a 25% premium over going LTR rates.
