In keeping with the "bad" areas topic,  how do you rate the student rental properties for Oklahoma City University?

I learned a lot from watching the Speech & Language Pathologist when she was helping my mom with expressing herself and keeping her language skills up.

With the University in Madison, and the various other locations around Wisconsin, a focus on student housing could be profitable.

That's all part of the negotiation process in buying real estate, so don't worry about it.I suggest you also bring these concerns back to your agent again to discuss them, as I can't see the contract that they're using so the language could be different from the contracts I use.

This allows your agent to include language in the contract that states the seller will pay your agent whatever commission you have agreed upon.

@Alison KurtzWe have several student rentals: student houses (4 - 5 housemates); apartments (1 - 3 bdrm); and rooming houses (fully furnished, within walking distance to two universities, caters to international students).Screen your tenants well.  

It's a huge market because of Disney World, Universal Studios and SeaWorld.  

So the cross streets are around priest and university.
