Not an attorney, but I believe with COVID regulations and evictions on hold, there is no legal recourse currently to force them to allow a home inspection. 

I will come back to that market after I gain some expertise because the regulations are much stricter in DC than WI, plus landlord friendly in comparison.  

AZ as a state is very STR friendly from a regulation standpoint going as far as not allowing any cities to ban them. 

There is generally less oversight/regulation with private lenders than exists with banks.

Different factors regulate the number of children that aprovider can care for during a given time in a family child care home.In general, California State law prevents landlords from prohibiting or restricting a provider’s childcare operations.

When I look at real estate market in socal, price to rent ration, regulation, and real estate tax does not seem that favorable to me.

Financing regulations are a little different between Canada and the U.S.A. as you have already experienced.  

I also recommend speaking with a few securities attorneys once you get a handle on the terms before you share anything with investors to ensure full compliance with SEC regulations. 

Urban STRs are a different animal and I have more concerns about regulations than I do about long-term effects of COVID-19.That said, I think the major vacation markets will rebound, and I remain confident in my vacation rental investments.  

., I might feel more comfortable with a PM who is local to the L.A. area, because they will be familiar with the city as well as be aware of regulations and things I would need to take a lot of time to research on my own.
