Hi I really need help on this, I have a C class rental, we need to replace the shower and the size is very unique, then there has to be tile on the wall and floor.Any recommendation for the type/color of tiles on the shower wall and shower floor?

Looking at a house to purchase to rent (not sure if short, medium or long) that is surrounded on one side by a decent sized cemetery.  

I guess from a developers perspective, I'd take an educated guess that if you had 2 properties right next to each other, identical in size, lot size, bedrooms bathrooms etc, but 1 a MFH & the other a SFH, it seems that the SFH would sell for more, and probably cost less (less framing, doors, windows, appliances, boilers / furnaces / water tank etc

Nithin,If you are talking about renting just a portion of the house and living there your current homeowners policy may need to be endorsed (depends on the company - check with your agent)If you will no longer be occupying the house when you rent it out, it is likely that you will need to change from the current homeowners policy.  

Are you going from a large single family property to an apartment size dwelling and what's the crime like in the area you would be moving to vs. the crime statistics where you live right now. 

The size, layout, interior, make it smart, and other features will be according to what you are the buyer desire.When it comes to renovating a property then you are somewhat limited to the fineness of the structure that already exist.

There is no one size fits all answer to your question here as every situation and every single person has a different take on this.For now, consider this: what is your total cost to finance this deal outside the seller carry?

They need a good size opening for the liner.

I would occupy the second house but I’m not sure if it’s possible because I already work close to my first home and have no change in family size.

One thing I would suggest is to take a look at your current housing situation, if you pay rent how much and will your portion of the mortgage payments be less than what your current rent is.
