Is it smart to invest in multi-family properties in 2022?

Hi Everyone, 

I am a first time home buyer and I am interested in purchasing a multi-family property that has 4 units. The owner is doing some repairs but not fully updating the place. My exit strategy would be to buy and hold or use a 203k loan for the updates and repairs. I plan on living in the property and using it as my primary residence. Would this be a wise idea to invest in this current market?
