Was doing a short on it before and they gave payoffs of double the amount owed, cancelled the mtg once, reinstated it 6 mos later, and showed on her statement that the "lender paid expenses" in one year were $999k!

Louisiana law states that any tenant who breaks a lease and leaves early (except under some circumstances, and this isn’t one of them) must continue paying rent for the duration of the lease or until I find a new tenant, whichever happens first.

We did live in it for one year to satisfy the FHA loan and then moved out, so unfortunately it would have to be refinanced as an investment property with worse rates (8.1%) and higher LTV (25%).
