Numerous possibilities including: Selling the property takes longer or you don't get the selling price you wanted, rehab takes longer or has cost blowouts, stabilizing takes longer or the rack rentals (look up the term) you factored into your calculations for don't have people lining up around the block for the opportunity.Best of luck.

You might consider installing water saving features (replace old toilets, install water saving shower heads, etc.) and actually asking the tenants to please try to conserve water (if you have a good relationship with them).
