My view is that I can get a higher return by parking that cash in real estate as opposed to having some fund manager get me marginal returns on my savings.Appreciate any thoughts or comments.

It's an older book, published in the 60's I believe but I read "how I turned $1000 into a million in real estate in my spare time" by Bill Nickerson years ago and got a tremendous amount out of it.

Now if this is clearly disclosed, at the end of the day it is your business and you can run it how you choose.Keep in mind, there is a lot of competition in new PM businesses because of the changing real estate sales market.

In my opinion, you can go wrong on ANY investment strategy BUT if you're thinking about investing in real estate house hacking is by farrrrr the most forgiving strategy.

I get it everybody has to make a buck , but I didnt hire the buyers agent , what ever they want to charge THEIR customer is fine with me , but I wasnt paying it . 2.5% sounds like a low number until you put it into real numbers on a $800k sale and you see it as $20,000 .
