Our goal is to flip two C or D grade historic homes in downtown Charleston.

You can still buy a brand new 4 bedroom, 2500 square foot home 20 minutes from downtown Austin well under $250,000. 

I'm currently looking into the Dallas area (downtown Dallas near the airport), with a $80-100 rental price per day, 50% vacancy rate, the math provide solid ROI for houses under $100K.I just want to connect to people with similar experience or any other experience in buy and hold properties.

I'm thinking either Bailey or Wiggins but that's a pretty long commute to work in the Tech Center or Downtown (where I'm most likely to be employed).

Hi Kevin, I know a guy who managed maintenance for a 40+ unit Lakewood building and now does maintenance work for a major hotel downtown.  

What do you think it would reasonably cost to do something like that person in a decent lot kind of off the downtown path?
