@Bob E. and @Brian Garlington can you please share the name of the company that screwed you over, so that I don't make the same mistake?

Not the cheapest, but they won't screw it up.

Ultimately the seller wasn't too keen on splitting them up, so I said "screw it, I want them all!"

While your arms may not reach, is it possible to use some kind of extension , Like a light bulb screw in thingy to grab something with glue on the back and push it against the hole?

The title insurance took care of it all , without the title insurance they would have been screwed :(

Because if they screw up, then you're usually the one left holding the bag.

There were also screws and large anchors that were left in that went through the drywall.  

I charge them to change air filters, clean the carpet, wipe out the stove, pull a screw out of the garbage disposal, haul of trash left in the garage, etc.I only have your side of it and no knowledge of your laws, management agreement, or lease agreement, but based on what you've told us, I would say you are probably paying far more than you should.My recommendation is for you to chalk this up as a learning experience and get the new tenant in.

So screw it, instead  of wasting our time we stay with the current carrier & just fight the increase if it's too high.
