When someone said he own 18 Apartment or Condos units, he is saying that in a large apartment of 120 units, he own 18 units of those & used a property manager to manage his portfolio under a company (Entirely optional), right?

So when a person said they own 30 units of apartment or condos, they mean that in a building of 600 units, they (Optional) used a PM to manage 30 units of their properties portfolio in that apartment/ condos under the owner company, right?
