Fair enough, that's understandable, although I do see differing opinions (from searching around online) on this with some contractors being transparent about their markup and costs while others just providing a lump sum number.

In NY you need to take a RE Salesperson course which is 75 hours after that is complete you take the license exam how ever you need a broker to hold your license.You can do courses online normally 200-400 but you can search groupon more often than not you can get the course for 90-150.Good Luck

I've got the perfect solution I'm happy I saw this post go to youtube look up jay morrison he was 25 when he started with rental properties and made a million dollars by 28 through multifamily and saleing  in market highs I recommend you read his free book hip hop to home owners on his website just google him and his site will pop up he also offers a online real estate school he is very inspiring and I think will greatly help you in your journey
