I would be able to finance the project entirely but part of me wants him to be a little more invested than only providing contracting services to keep him motivated and interested/incentivized to complete homes quickly. 

The emails investors send are mostly text based, and more personalized to incentivize the seller.

Investors, theoretically, are incentivized to maximize value in their property, to maximize the return from their investments.The Financiers back the Homeowners and Investors by providing debt instruments.

If I take the route of finding a job in public relations, marketing or event planning, I would have to intern for 6 months to a year, because these entry level positions require at least a year of full time experience in the field. 

I would contact local real estate developers and see if they have the need for an assistant, part-time worker, or unpaid intern and start from there. 

My wife's also a realtor who consults for an international vacation rental firm.
