If you can, do most banks allow you to refinance straight away or is there typically a holding period?

Over on the West Side of H-town -- thankfully no flooding here in our little area, but don't have to drive far at all to find the destruction.Started the journey earlier this summer, looking for an invsetment opportunity, either to flip or rent/hold. 

I kept hearing from people that their first response team is always on hold or would schedule something a long time off to come which in some cases like a hole in the roof you can't wait. 

Is it safe to say that someone looking for buy and hold rental properties would be less concerned with timing the market versus finding good cash flowing deals and dollar cost averaging into the market as it cycles? 

Are you doing fix/flips, or buy/holds?

@Alina Trigub  in most cases, 3rd position or greater probably wouldn’t hold much weight.  

You may create a holding LLC in WY or NV that will own all these sub LLC.

Buy them for myself as rentals (buy and hold).

Now long are you looking to hold the loan?
