For me, I didn't have the loan amount issue and I think that made it easier.But the one thing I would add is that the trick is sometimes to keep looking for more lenders.

this is a very frequent game played by section 8 tenants.. and your stuck in a rock and hard spot.... their copay is 65 dollars.. their hud pay is 700 dollars.. you get them booted out because they don't pay their co pay.. and it takes one or two months to rent again plus the money you have to put in to it to have it reinspected... so now our down 1400 dollars not including in many areas that are dominated by hud tenants thefts are common place along with kids breaking in and vandalizing....
