The house likely needs a new roof, all new electrical, kitchens, siding, water heaters, furnaces/AC, floor refinishing, and substantial painting.  

So, that mistake cost me the price tag of a new floor.  

Figure out what it would cost to do full remediation of mold and water issues including testing plumbing, repairing any issues with plumbing, ripping out drywall and flooring and replacing as necessary, etc. 

The cheaper home will also have the vinyl flooring replaced in the kitchen and bathroom.  

I am very handy but have never tackled flooring, cabinetry, countertops, minor plumbing etc.  

One tenant is being evicted as I write, and the unit needs a full rehab, cabinets, floors, doors and paint.

Hello BP,I just got a property under contract and I am going to be needing some good contractors that work in the Snohomish County, Marysville area.I could use a demo crew, handyman, painter, flooring, cabinet installer and a door and trim installer.

The houses generally predate air conditioning and it was too hot upstairs to cook, so there was a kitchen, usually smaller than the one on the main floor, for quick summertime meals.Still a single family.  

Currently the floors, drywall and bathrooms are incomplete. 

I have a rental property in Costa Mesa, CA and a tenant claimed that after she cleaned, her carpeted floors in her room were wet and she was worried about mold being under the carpet and in the walls.
