DIY Help - Player/Coach

Hi - I am getting ready to close on my first condo next week and would like to do some upgrades.  I am very handy but have never tackled flooring, cabinetry, countertops, minor plumbing etc.  I am looking for a pro that can work along side me to 1) cut the project time/cost in half and 2) ensure the work is done correctly.  I want the work to be professional but utilize as much of my sweat as I can.  Any ideas on how to find someone like this in Seattle or do you know anyone who will player/coach a couple small reno projects with me?

Thanks in advance!!

Adam
