Hello,I have a duplex with two tenants in one unit on the second floor.

We're going to start a full renovation of the first unit of our multifamily very soon. 

My "higher quality" properties, meaning SFH or multi-unit with high income tenants, low vacancy rates and low crime in the Bay Area and Indianapolis metro area appreciate more than my  lower priced homes in Indy.

However, in my experience, a 4 bedroom unit doesn't match well with most of the traveler types that use FF currently (although it is becoming more widely known by the day.)

My first was a 2 unit with an FHA and my second was a 4 unit with my VA.

Hello everyone,My name is Erika, I own 7 apartments in 2 buildings, the first one I bought almost a decade ago (2 unit) and until today it has been an excellent investment, and the second one bought it back in Dec 2022 (5 units).

Here where TIC is appropriate if a resident fell out you would make more money reselling the unit because it would have appreciated.

Best thing to do, in my opinion, is to do some research:1 - Figure out what your end goal is and how you plan to get there2- What niche you want to invest in (single-family, small multi-family 2-4 units, large multi-family).
