I've seen 1 post talking about subject to and seller financing hybrid but it doesn't explain or break it down.

Additionally, someone has created a post about any topic you can think of.

I have read some other posts where people were able to transfer title, but might be more difficult in NYS.

Also good to have a contact at several of the busiest local title companies, as they can keep you posted on the volume of transactions and pricing trends.
