I'm a bit green by most standards apart from the purchases and sales of my homes over the years.

@Jason Green  could be an intestate situation.. best to just pay for  a title commitment.you will know when you go to the auction as I am sure other investors will be chasing this and it will bid up. 

There are a lot of Granite City investors over there like Scott and Julia Green and Lewis Simpson (he's leading the fight against alleged GC housing discrimination).I've learned a ton of great stuff.
