Would I have any tax consequences if I pulled cash out and invested in R.E. crowdfunding platforms until I decided to add to my portfolio?

Besides Airbnb what other platforms hav you all had success with.

I get that Crowdstreet (and other platforms) are just giving exposure to private sponsors through a more visible platform.

Everyone thinks that their way is the only way and many forget we are in a membership trying to help each other out.Diane, there is a lot of nonsense on BP just like in any learning platform but there are golden nuggets and truths buried in some of that nonsense. 

I found they didn't have the technology platform I wanted as the big guys, and they didn't have the branches/atm network.

Also, Airbnb already requires a photo id and verifies the guests identity before they can use the platform.

They will also have access to newer platforms that will allow them to make deals and interact with clients cross country or even across the world.
