AirBnB while I'm out of town?

My hometown has a big festival every year where many people rent out their houses. I'm thinking of renting mine out, however I would like to take vacation at the same time. Can I rent out my home while I'm out of town? Anything I should be aware of while doing this?

You can rent your home income tax free for up to 14 days per year. You’ll still have to pay sales and occupancy tax. AirBnB may do this for you depending on your market.

To answer your question.... go for it! I rent 6 of them from out of town everyday. If I can do it you sure can! Just be warned.... you might like it :)
