Hi Mo, If you narrowed down your market to a few markets and are pre-approved and ready to buy, but haven't decided on the exact market yet because you want to get a better feel for it, I would recommend starting to build your team.

I feel like with impending legislation, especially in NJ, it is becoming more and more difficult to be a private landlord    

Not going to say much more here, but I dare say that the critics who say STR is dead or dying are not looking at the right properties and more investors need to lean in on agents like me who are truly experts.
