I just bought my house less than a month ago for 78K and it is in a great neighborhood so I know I could easily make a profit since it has already been appraised for 5K more than what I bought it for without me having fixed or changed anything.

Hi John,SFR are not rent-controlled in San Francisco (and I believe in most if not all rent-controlled cities).You can do an owner move in eviction but this does not change the rental control status of a unit.
