We knew we wanted to investment in Puget Sound waterfront and my wife spent hours on Google Maps and driving around to develop a list of cold call applicants.

At some point that’s simple not sustainable.

I have read about driving around to look for houses and mailing letters to people in a certain zip code (I am not going to do that.)

Keep up the great work and that drive and you will reach them in no time.

Like many other places, the low inventory is driving prices.

Beyond that, I believe in his drive and ambition.

Let the opportunity drive the transaction - versus letting the money drive you to buy. 

I don't know actually, but I wonder the reason IF...Would a city push something like this in attempt to drive up ownership by raising the barrier of entry/operations for noon owner-occupieds?

Even though I will be spending some time with my team during my visit, I would love to get some additional suggestions about how to best maximize my three days there (i.e. attend a local REIA, driving/walking neigboorhoods of high interest,etc.).  

I have been diligently driving for dollars, noting properties to target and compiling my cold call list.My question is, because I am searching for an off-market property, what type of financing would be best?
