If you are a member in a LLC and your function is to find deals, fine, that can be accomplished with other members paying you a fee for your work, doing so as a free lance type can be a problem.

Does your LLC allow different voting rights for members, is there a buy sell agreement, or does much of it simply default to state statutes?
