The test is FAR too easy.I got licensed a couple of years ago and studied like crazy, thinking that a test they give you 4 hours to complete was going to be a real grilling.  40 minutes after I walked in the testing room, I was on the sidewalk with my real estate license in hand.Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

I've obviously noticed the higher than average crime rate, but it also has lost of rehabbable multi families, a large number of people looking to rent and a reasonably low vacancy rate, and new programs and infrastructure(they just put in a new sidewalk and they have better than average public transportation).

Hi jamel, while i have never walked the streets there i have spent time driving through and around the local area from time to time, you are definitely correct on the good/bad   war/livable areas, seems things are coming up in certain areas i would definitely take time to see with your own eyes the areas you wish to invest especially NJ, its a weird town.. i go to the power plant/recycle center with deliveries sometimes and that part of Newark is a dump. but you go 1 block over its a different world with clean sidewalks and grass .haha  best of luck with your endeavors.
