They sent me cabinets that were in different boxes, different construction, door sizes were off a half an inch, a pinstripe was a different color, they couldn't fulfill the order with the cabinets I ordered so they gave me different cabinets and said that they would work?

I used nice colored towels until a very nice renter washed them together, now all my towels are whit except one for makeup. 

Damages look fair, we will need to do lots of re-painting (they painted loud colors on most of the walls and wall papered 😂), lots of holes, and some minor wear and tear that we anticipated.  

Too add to what @John W. said, use one color paint for all your rentals.

Took me a year to find this car used in the color combo i wanted.Three years later and only added 15k miles to it. (25k total).

I have a flip and want to simulate different colors to see approximate appearance before the actual painting goes down.

The "little" HOAs usually aren't concerned if your tenant lets the grass get long for a couple of weeks and they don't make you get pre-approval on color selection for your front door.

Assuming all is roses and being nice will resolve all issues is not rational.

It also helps if you tint your primer close to your finish color.
