Albuquerque is home to Sandia National Labs, Kirtland Air Force Base, the University of NM, Presbyterian Health Care, Abq Public Schools, Amazon, Netflix, Intel, HP, T-Mobile, several large call centers, among many others.

Where would be the best place to buy a condo that would be used for short term rentals such air bnb or vrbo??

If it were me, I'd buy a couple of them and ask my cleaner to swap out the batteries if they saw the batteries were under a certain level with fresh ones, and then have the cleaners charge up the batteries as part of the service contract with them.Mike

I also use Hospitality which notifies the cleaner when guests are coming and going. 

These machines would likely cost millions of dollars, and it is unlikely they could handle the more intricate tasks of finishing the houses… think carpet, showers, stoves, air conditioners, garage doors and their openers, screened porches, and the list goes on.Just my 2 cents All the best!

If not I will try to refinance and then either pull the trigger on furnishing the home for STR (cleaners and handymen were hired/ interviewed on the trip out,) and still have the boots on the ground in case of emergency.. or just long term rental and refinance, repeat…Not a perfect deal, but I learned a ton!

But those types of numbers are typically in the 'rarified air' of institutional investors that are looking to park $100 million for some low rate of return.
