Do you sell properties and if so, do you own the properties you sell?

I am in search of info as to whether i can sell farmland that i have operated personally in exchange for rental properties (housing) .

I ended up selling all of them during covid because it was too much of a hassle to manage them (even though I had a property manager).I'm now thinking about getting back into the game but this time I'm more cautious and want to focus locally.Your # one priority should be finding a trustworthy property manager when investing out of state.

Therefore I want to sell it off ASAP.

I am looking to purchase an existing motel to renovate and turn into a condotel...where the individual units become condo units, and the motel still runs like a normal motel to guests.How can I legally pre-sell the units before acquiring or purchasing the motel?

I do not intend on selling this one since this property has a good bit of equity and is low maintenance Lessons learned?

May be he is in such a situation to sell it badly at any cost to save foreclosure/bankruptcy?
