The videos and trainings are literally groups of people spending 1-2 hours passing a low-budget (or no budget) microphone around sharing their RE successes for 2 days, it's mindbogglingly bad.

She also, very quickly I might add, came out and straight up told me she was trying to get away from an abusive ex-husband BUT that the court case was almost over and that she would be getting a huge check (ends up telling me exactly how much in the app) and so she could pay me 6 months of rent in advance.

@John MoorhouseIf you're born to the hustle, you're not afraid of learning things, you don't give a damn what other people think about you, you're willing to stick out putting money aside for years when everyone is spending at it and dismissing you with contempt and pity, when it comes time to poop or get off the pot you can make a decision and stick to it, you've got skin skin like an alligator, and the idea of repeated failure and humiliation does not paralyze you, you'll do great in real estate.Look around, do the online video course (Education tab, Free Course), ask questions.

Of course when first discussing my project with the contractor, we were on the same page and he understood my values towards why I choose to rehab a historic house versus tear it down and start from scratch, but somewhere his mindset changed and he thought he could get away with taking advantage of the situation.I am definitely trying to keep my eyes on the prize and hope that it will all work out in the end.
