That being said self-management is not for everyone - if you have a very low stress and problem solving tolerance or are for example a super buys executive it likely wouldn't make sense.

I'm no longer a W2 employee so I am not currently contributing any funds to it. 

I got the property under contract and several weeks later the current managers were caught kiting checks and stealing cash of about $5K per month, while the owners of the property were 20 feet away in the next office suite.
