New to investing and looking to learn

Good morning all,

I’m a vet and current firefighter looking to build financial freedom. I currently own one rental property in Fort Worth and own one house which I occupy in NJ. I’m here to connect and learn from everyone in the industry and hope to make a better deal on the next property as my first purchase was a new build. Although i have positive equity and the value of the house went up I’m breaking even with no cash flow. Lesson learned and on to the next one!
