I'm just saying I rent to people,  no pets, that qualify by income and credit and criminal.

Even in localities with "income discrimination" laws, you can still obviously screen tenants for prior evictions, criminal history, charging a higher deposits, etc.

My experience is that no one goes to prison for a first offense except violent offenders or extreme cases.

I think you will never see this money and you are wasting your time.This PM regardless of BK filing DOES NOT cover discharging of debt or monies owed when committing a criminal offense (fraud,theft,etc.)In my mind this person filing BK is going to jail and has bigger problems to worry about than money issues.No legal advice.
