That seems crazy to me.Not the end of the world you just factor that into your offer for the distressed asset. and those that don't wont make as much.. this is becoming about as toothless of rent control  as I have seen.. no big deal

I only know Ohio law, but these terms might help find the WA laws:  If its the previous owner, you file with the court for a "writ of possession" (which is different from a normal eviction, which is a writ of restitution), which seems to turn into a "habere facias" I wont even bother mentioning what the Ohio laws are for a tenant occupying a foreclosure, because I'm sure Washington state is way different.

I have never once had a seller say Hey I wont sell to you becasue your an agent.. and i know this is why the wholesale guru crowd pounds into newbies head they dont want a license because of secret profit etc..etc.
