Has anyone ever faced an issue like this, and have you successfully negotiated a higher rent that is well supported by local comparable values and even HUD numbers that you've received from a housing authority? 

I graduated from college with a degree in business administration so have a basic understanding as to what makes businesses successful.

Im only 15 but im open to any basic tips that can help me be successful  in the long run when i get my real estate license at the age of 18.

I was also able to negotiate lower rates with the contractors we did use to re-wire and re-plumb the house because I did most of the grunt work.
