Wowever, you have to be careful and ensure they can't tie your charges to a protected class.You could try leading with a carrot instead of driving them with a stick.

Even experienced developers can have this problem, in that they're only exposed to the sites they've developed in the past, where I've seen issues that have come up not only on their project, but also on other projects with their own unique site issues.This often leads to overpaying (or almost overpaying) for the potential value of the property....sellers fuel this idea .

It seems like a high fee to owners, but the PM business would be so much easier, profitable and hassle free if there was never a turnover or leasing commission.Steve I agree low/no turnover can be a good thing, but would be concerned that this bias might lead the PM to recommend below market rent increases on renewals.

We always use our attorney to submit the contracts we have to the contractors attorney.Any & all draws are subsequently approved through the attorney after each sub-scope of work is completed to our satisfaction.

We use them to pull credit and whatnot.My first guess, and it's 100% A GUESS, would be that a credit report contained something inaccurate, leading to someone issuing a loan they otherwise wouldn't have, which in turn resulted in corelogic being sued, which in turn resulted in a settlement that involved them covering the prop taxes.Again, 100% a guess.
