my parents and I discussed purchasing an income producing property as I had done for myself with my partner, but for them as well. once they retire, we are to split the cash flow in exchange for me managing it.

I'm stacking capital to weather any stormsI'm still buying properties, good deals at low interest rates are the name of the game in any market.I'm working on non-cash intensive efforts like marketing and brandinglastly, I'm selling off any under-producing assets I ownnone of this is recession indicator driven behavior as it's all pretty standard but my motivation is a bit higher based on how the market looks (crunched!)

It seems kind of harsh to stick him with the full bill as if we were renting the whole place out since we are in on the investment together, but at the same time I don't want to have to put in a lot of money for expenses for a place that I'm not living in and he is, especially since its supposed to be an income producing asset.

Landlord abuse of the security deposit?

LBJ Realty Holdings, LLC and Hollywood Fountain, LLC never produced the receipts to me (the ones they said they had) when I questioned about the additional $40.Also, to add some context, I am moving back to my home country and I feel like that situation made LBJ Realty Holdings, LLC and Hollywood Fountain, LLC think that they could take advantage of the deposit by absconding with extra cash (thinking that just because I am not in the US any longer, that it won't bother me).The investing industry is really small - I don't know if they were aware that tenants can also be people of influence, lawyers, doctors, business owners and investors themselves.
