CHBO is an outdated site that still does quite a bit of corporate rental business. 

Overarching all this, is what you can fit on the site in regards to zoning.

A google search just brought up a bunch of private jet sharing sites.

See if one of them would go with you to the property to assess the work and how much it would cost to repair the house and capitalize on the "forced appreciation".Or, you can perform "sweat equity"...doing some of the work yourself if you have some experience with renovating and repairing property.Also, be sure to soak up the free knowledge here. 

You're very trusting to allow (insist) on your tenants performing their own maintenance.

If there were such a thing as a "flipper license" this site might not exist.

@Jeffrey HolstLooks like the comparison between value and rent isn't as strong as I thought.I found an older thread that referenced this site... https://www.deptofnumbers.com/rent/My area shows really no correlation between the 2 from 2006 and 2012.

@Jay Hinrichs Yes, the trick now seems to be determining where the ripple effect of the planned plant heads next since adjacent land to the site is certainly not going for farmer prices any longer.
