I own a property that is a minute away,  from an imaginary border town that has many restrictions, in a town with no restrictions and the returns are just as good (and way better from a yield perspective), it just doesn’t have the fancy zip code.

It worked well for him because he lived for cheap, it worked for me because he paid me.There's not a wrong way to do it, but personally I look to maximize my conforming loans because the terms are amazing and we only get 10 of them.

The porch must be removed anyway, due to major structural issues, so if we are going to pay to remove it, we might as well change the look in order to give people in this market what they want in order to maximize profit and sell faster.
