Sold the unit to create liquid cash for another deal we are working on.

In my opinion, spray foam insulation, UV reflective paint, fresh air systems, and solar panels should be standard in all new homes built in the last 2-3 years at an affordable price.

I'm not just looking at the pay back but the overall impact of my purchase decision socially, economically, and environmentally.To me it is easier to add granite, new cabinets, and latest lighting than to add solar with battery storage, greywater, spray foam insualtion...etc.What do you think?

The question is: should we put the property in our names and liquidate the LLC now as we never really saw a material benefit to the structure or should we register as a foreign entity now and start filing state taxes and deal with any consequences.

If you aren't going to invest for stronger returns, pay down the most expensive mortgage in bites that allow you to have liquidity for life situations.

That means your assets just assume the liability directly related to them, and your operational LLC holds the highest liability but doesn't actually hold anything except the liquid assets that flow through it.
