Absense a dramatic collapse in rents (no modern historical precedent for that) or a dramatic rise in expenses (i.e. quadrupling of taxes, skyrocketing insurance rates, etc.) a house that cash flows today will cash flow tomorrow whether or not the value of the house rises or falls.

Most houses around here need to be demo'd and something modern put in it's place.I'm not really a fan of all the apartments that replace the old houses. 

It is a good way to save on commissions although getting access to listed properties can be difficult if you do not have full MLS access and access to the electronic lock box system being used by lots of realtors.  

Modern A-frames are a huge hit right now and since your area is in the Blue Ridge Mountains it would be perfect!

If you do call, I doubt you will be able to get much out of it since the applicant only had to fill out an electronic survey to obtain the certification.and yes many of those web sites recommended to their users to not disclose initially then bring on the animal later as a surprise and say "oh, it's not a pet".

You have to make your property stand out by it being modern comfortable fun and great pictures.

Bradley, are you saying that AirBNB with a co-host will still require my efforts like on pricing and handing the keys over or performing electronic codes assuming a yale lock or something?

Modern rehab

My thoughts were to make the studios into extended stay for blue collar folk with a modern vibe w/some common area amenities (laundry, vending, & business center) .
