If in your shoes, I'd try and weather the storm through the winter and then get them out or evict when the weather is warmer and when it's easier to re-rent the unit.

Not only sith SDIRA's, but funds outside a retirement account can be targets for crooks.If you invest with your SDIRA (or any funds for that matter) know who the borrower is, make sure you know the investment and you have personally performed your due diligence on the investment.
