I have managed 2 commercial properties (3500 sq ft studio/warehouse and 2000 sq ft free-standing building) for the past 17 years.

I'm in the process of buying a home with a detached garage and studio in the back.

I've had a mixed-use building for 9 years now.  28 Studio and 10 1-bedrooms upstairs with some retail downstairs. 

In one studio apartment the heat sporadically stops working.

I highly recommend this business ($30 investment in a roll of vinyl pays typically $400 when made).Right now I'm a full time Information Technology professional at Amazon with plans on moving to Information Security.

Now that Amazon is moving in, that demand is growing as well!

I think seattle is an outlier because of amazons impact.

Search it on Amazon, then scroll down to the "Customers who bought this also bought" section and be ready to unload some money because there lots of great books in there to read.I'd probably avoid all the Dan Kennedy stuff.
