The provisions of this section also apply to occupants and owners of residential real property which is the subject of a mortgage foreclosure or contract for deed cancellation and as to which the period for redemption or reinstatement of the contract has expired.

Has anyone considered converting their property to a Residential Assisted Living home?

As @Luke Carl said. the value is based on the comparable sales of similar residential properties.

Hello,I understand the current real estate market and that home prices are selling at all-time highs and the cost of residential building is as well. 

Purchase price: $730,000 Cash invested: $135,000 Mixed use commercial building. 2 commercial units and 6 residential.

Wondering if anyone here knows about the laws and regulations for either renovating an existing multiple building residential (not an apartment building, more like country villa estate) property or building one new in Italy and or Portugal.

The interests rates may be higher than current residential rates, but they are not astronomically high. 

There's residential and commercial real estate law, business law, consumer law, securities law, commercial law, corporate finance law, etc. etc. etc.
